Christmas Day Brussel Sprouts with Smoked Lardons
Lots of Brussel Sprouts (1kg will do for 4 people)
150g of Smoked Lardons
Pinch of salt and pepper
Brussel sprouts are either loved or hated and here in The Dorset Meat Company household, we love them, can’t get enough of them and here we share our favourite way to prepare them.
Place the sprouts in a steamer and cook gently for 10 minutes
While the sprouts are cooking, heat a frying pan and stir fry the lardons until crispy. Leave in the pan
Once the sprouts have cooked add them to the pan of lardons, add the butter and move around the pan combine the sprouts and lardons so the smokey flavours cover all the sprouts. Add the salt and pepper and now they are ready to serve.
