At the Dorset Meat Company, we believe that small-scale, sustainable farming is better for the animal, the local ecology, the farmer and for you. Whilst there is growing consumer awareness of the benefits of eating grass-fed, outdoor-reared meat, there is a continual need to support family-run farms and those essential elements of our rural economy that are challenged and under threat. This is why we support organisations like the Sustainable Food Trust and the Campaign for Local Abattoirs.
