As far as sausage rolls go, we reckon these are about as good as it gets!
Our sausage rolls come from our friends at Little Jack Horner whose team of dedicated bakers make everything by hand at their bakery in Mells, Somerset. Their goal is, simply, to make the best sausage rolls that you can buy using only 100 per cent outdoor-reared, free-range pork from local, high-welfare small-holdings and farms.
Their pastry is a rough shortcrust, no nonsense, just flour, excellent local butter, salt and water. It’s their own recipe and is thin and light and delicate when baked off in the oven.
“The best sausage rolls we’ve ever tasted.”
