Our handmade, professional, artisan bacon curing kits are from Ross & Ross and will allow you to cure your own bacon at home. This kit is perfect for anyone that wants to learn a new skill, loves bacon or wants to try out a new culinary experience.

The kit uses proper artisan methods of drawing the moisture out of meat by the process of osmosis. The kit allows you to cure up to 1.5kg of bacon and in three different cure flavours, fennel & juniper, maple and chipotle and mustard and pink peppercorn, Just add the pork!

The whole process for curing bacon takes 7 days where the bacon is resting in the fridge. The initial preparation only takes between 30-60 minutes. You will need 500g of pork belly for each curing mix. The instructions booklet makes the process remarkably simple and we there is a dedicated FAQ’s page if you have any questions.

The Homemade Curing Kit contains:

  • 500g boneless, rindless pork belly
  • 3x  curing mixes –fennel & juniper(30g), maple & chipotle(30g) and English mustard & pink peppercorn(35g)

How it works?

Choose from our wide range of grass fed meat, cheese, chef prepared meals, or pick one of our set boxes.

Select your delivery day. We deliver across the UK 5 days each week and you do not need to be in to receive your order.

So that your order arrives in tip-top condition, we prepare each order by hand so that it’s fresh, vacuum pack each item and then pack it in a temperature controlled fully recyclable chilled liner to ensure that the contents stay chilled for over 48 hours.
