From The Dorset Meat Company Bistrot Range, our Coq au Vin uses tender British chicken, slowly braised in a rich red wine sauce with smoked bacon, mushrooms and herbs for a classic French brasserie dish.

Inspired by traditional French bistrot cooking, our Coq au Vin is full of rich, slow-cooked flavour and rustic French character.

Simply heat and enjoy relaxed restaurant-quality dining at home.

Remove from the tray, thaw and place the defrosted contents into a casserole dish and heat at 180°C for 45 minutes.

950g portion size will serve 2 to 3 people generously.

This product will have been previously frozen and will arrive in a thawed state. Do not refreeze.

Chicken Breast, smoked bacon lardons, button mushrooms, onions, carrots, red wine (SULPHITES), chicken stock, Tomato puree, Dijon mustard (MUSTARD), butter (MILK), oil, cornflour, garlic, salt, pepper.

Uses British barn-reared non-halal chicken.

All dishes are prepared in a kitchen that handles allergens including cereals containing gluten, milk, eggs, mustard, celery, and sulphites. While every effort is made to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that our meals are completely free from these allergens.

How it works?

Choose from our wide range of grass fed meat, cheese, chef prepared meals, or pick one of our set boxes.

Select your delivery day. We deliver across the UK 5 days each week and you do not need to be in to receive your order.

So that your order arrives in tip-top condition, we prepare each order by hand so that it’s fresh, vacuum pack each item and then pack it in a temperature controlled fully recyclable chilled liner to ensure that the contents stay chilled for over 48 hours.
