Our free-range chicken legs are perfect for casseroles, curries or slow-cooked pot roasts and sometimes easier than roasting a whole chicken.
We like to do ours as a simple and quick version of coq au vin, with shallots, garlic, bacon lardons, a few mushrooms, chicken stock and red wine. Fry off the chicken before slow cooking for up to one hour. Or, dress them in harissa paste with a little added olive oil, a few cloves of garlic, and bake for up to forty minutes.

Our free range, outdoor reared, high welfare chicken is from small specialist west country poultry producers. Slow-grown and free from any antibiotic intervention, our chickens live outdoors naturally in small flocks and for twice as long as their supermarket counterparts.
