Winslade is the newest arrival in the Hampshire Cheeses’ stable, developed over the last two years as a sibling cheese for the multi award-winning Tunworth.
This vacherin camembert cross is encircled in a spruce collar which gives Winslade a unique and distinctive pine note. Matured in the same way as traditional camembert, Winslade has an unusual pinkish hue and a dappled rind. A ripe Winslade is soft and unctuous with a quiet floral earthiness. More mild than Tunworth, yet superbly rich and gentle on the palate, this is a very popular choice on British cheeseboards.

Our range of West Country artisan cheeses are all from small, specialist cheesemakers. Dorset and Somerset have some of the very best producers whose cheeses are lovingly crafted using milk produced by wonderful local dairy farmers.

So that your order arrives in tip-top condition, we prepare each order by hand so that it’s fresh, vacuum pack each item and then pack it in a temperature controlled fully recyclable chilled liner to ensure that the contents stay chilled for over 48 hours.
